Soap Creek Lodge was started the summer of 2009 with the help of hunters from MN, SC, WI and Iowa.  Hunters actually stayed there during the December hunting season and again during the spring turkey season.  I feel like the project was finished the fall of 2010.  It seems to be an ongoing project but a satisfying addition to the property.  I hope we have a lot of people enjoy what we have to offer in our little slice of heaven.

A brief description of the lodge:

* Soap Creek Lodge is a 60x54 post and beam gambrel barn located on 835 acres of white oak and red oak timber along with a 15 acre bass and crappie pond.

* The 1000 sq ft hay loft with 4 bedrooms and a balcony looks down to the great room. Along with the great room, downstairs has a kitchen, two large bathrooms with showers, and a storage room with a washer/dryer and an extra freezer and refrigerator.

* A 58x20 patio sits off the back of the lodge and a smaller patio sits off the kitchen.
